First Day At Home

As expected, my mom stayed close by me most of the day. She was pleased that I wanted to cuddle on the sofa and lounge outside in the warm sun. I was pretty comfortable (after she forced me to take my pills!) Yuck! Bailey, my sister, took a nap with me. I think she’s happy to have me home….though she would never say it!

  1. AWWWWW.. WHAT A SWEETIE PIE!!! and another Springer in the picture there!!?? whoo hoooo!!
careful with the couch though.. don’t let that snuggle bug jump down by herself.. they need to be very little exercised in the beginning as they have a whole bunch of blood vessels, etc cut that need to heal.
I always suggest to raise their food and water bowls.. especially for front amputees. This revents them from straining themselves to eat and drink on that one remaining leg..
Keep us posted.. I hope the recovery is easy peezy for you all!!
